Nocturne Jazz & Supper Club presents Artist in Residence Series featuring the Annie Booth Trio on Wednesdays throughout October – 7 to 10:30pm. The trio is comprised of long-time friends and bandmates Patrick McDevitt (bass) and Alejandro Castaño (drums).

 

Appearing in their second artist in residency the trio is hosting “Guest Sessions” and featuring weekly collaborations with iconic musicians from Denver’s thriving scene including: Greg Gisbert on 10/5, Shane Endsley on 10/12, Josh Quinlan on 10/19 and John Gunther on 10/26.

 

Annie has become a force in the Denver jazz scene with recent awards as Westword Magazine’s winner in the “Best In Denver” jazz category for both 2015 and 2016 and a recipient of an ASCAP Young Jazz Composers Award.  In addition to her notable work as a recording artist and bandleader, she is an accomplished side-woman, playing often at Nocturne with a number of bands and very recently featured in the Greg Gisbert Quartet tour of Mexico through the “New York Jazz All-Stars” concert series.

*A weeknight artist fee of $5 per person will be applied to each check
