Anthony Braxton is an American experimental composer, improviser, educator, and multi-instrumentalist. An NEA Jazz Master and MacArthur Fellow and member of the AACM.

His body of work is prodigious, compositions, recordings, and educational texts. He has recorded with a who’s who of jazz giants. We celebrate his accomplishments this week on The Nightside
as he turns 77.
