CO-born singer-songwriter Lauren Frihauf has been making waves both locally and nationally with her music – including an appearance on The Voice in 2020 and more recently, featured on NPR Music’s Tiny Desk “Top Shelf” Ep 1 in 2022. Lately, she has been busy working on the new album “Shadows in the Soul Machine” set to be released in 2024. Excitingly, the first singles will drop in January and February.
Lauren will be performing at Dazzle where she will play a few of her new unreleased cuts, some pre-released songs, and even a few holiday tunes – tis the season! She will be joined by her band: Alec Wenzel on guitar, Callum Bair on bass, and Braxton Kahn on drums.
Though young, she has dedicated her time cultivating her brilliant talent and it shows. Her music is both unconventional and accessible, a direct line to the soul as it reflects her genuine nature. We had the pleasure of having Lauren Frihauf drop by KUVO last week. She shared with us how she got her start in music, the writing and recording process of her latest album, and some of her influences as an artist. In this line of work, it’s always a pleasure to meet the future in music like Lauren.
We featured Lauren on Influenced 12/05. We chatted with her and played some of her music in anticipation of her performance at Dazzle on Thursday, December 7 at 6:30 PM. More information here.
You can keep up with Lauren Frihauf on her website, or follow her on Facebook and Instagram.
