When the skies opened on over northern Colorado on July 31, 1976, few anticipated this summer storm would result in the deadliest flash flood in Colorado’s recorded history. Documentarian Julie Speer visited “First Take with Lando and Chavis” with the story of that event, and the one-hour special airing on Rocky Mountain PBS on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 7pm.
