The Daryl Gott Quartet is performing LIVE from KUVO’s Bonfils-Stanton Performance Studio on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 7 p.m.

Alto saxophonist Daryl Gott is performing with long-time Colorado bandmates Tom Amend at the Hammond B3 organ, UNC-Greeley guitar professor Steve Kovalcheck, and composer & bandleader Dru Heller at drums.

Denver native Gott attended the Denver School of the Arts and Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts. Daryl graduated with a BFA in jazz performance from City College of New York. His Masters degree in Jazz Performance and Pedagogy is from The University of Colorado at Boulder.

In 2015, Gott was recognized as one of KUVO’s “30 Under 30” artists. In 2023 Daryl Gott released an album of original compositions, his first as a leader, “Aperture.”

Gott’s standing gigs are every Monday at the Meadowlark from 9 p.m. to midnight and every Tuesday at Herb’s Bar from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Every Wednesday in March at Nocturne, Gott’s Quartet pays tribute to the music of Jackie McLean.
