It’s Mardi Gras with Dave Rajewski & The Welton Street Players! The Welton Street Players is a group named after the famous street in Denver’s Historic Five Points neighborhood. From the 1920’s – 50’s Welton Street was a thriving diverse business community with countless clubs that featured Jazz greats such as Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, Nat King Cole and Count Basie. The Welton Street Players celebrates the music, atmosphere and excitement associated with that timeless era in Denver’s Jazz history. The group is lead by Trumpeter Dave Rajewski and also features several of Denver’s top Jazz artists. Put on your classic threads, call up your best gal, and prepare to move your feet to the beat of Denver’s paramount Trad jazz group!
