Dazzle presents Live Stream featuring Marguerite Juenemann – Vocals, Eric Gunnison – Piano, Bill Kopper – Guitar, Bill McCrossen – Bass and Paul Romaine – Drums.

Marguerite Juenemann is much more than a Jazz singer. A dynamic performer, she can captivate an audience with her expressive solos.

Based in Denver since 1980, pianist and composer Eric Gunnison has led a distinguished career during which he has not only established himself as one of the mainstays of the Mile High City’s vibrant jazz scene as an instrumentalist, bandleader and educator, but has also attracted a global following performing, touring and recording with internationally renowned jazz artists.

(Host) Bill Kopper is a Boulder, Colorado based guitarist known for his expertise in American Jazz and Blues, and Brazilian Samba and Choro. Adept on electric, classical, and 7-string classical guitar (commonly used in Samba and Choro), he is featured on a diverse selection of recordings, from his own CDs “Samba de Chueca” and “El Oeste”, to Jazz vocalist and 2017 Grammy nominee Rene Marie’s CD “Black Lace Freudian Slip” and the soundtrack to her one-woman show “Slut Energy Theory”, Brazilian pianist/composer Carmen Sandim’s 2019 Rope-a-Dope records release, Play Doh, the Samba/Pagode group Ginga’s eponymous EP release, Choro Clarinetist Dexter Payne’s discs “Pra Voce” and “Jazz For All”, Vocalist Sonya Vallet’s debut recording “Moments in Passing”, Jazz Saxophonist Nelson Rangell’s discs “Soul to Souls” and “American Songbook”, trumpet master Brad Goode’s “Polytonal Dance Party” and “Chicago Red”, Peruvian songstress Cristina Mendoza Vidal’s debut release, “La Aurora, Icaros from the Amazon” (a tune from that disc “Cayal” was featured on the enviro-doc “A Fierce Green Fire”, narrated by Robert Redford, Meryl Streep, and Isabel Allende), among many others.

Over the past thirty years, Bill McCrossen has been in demand in the New York tri-state area, recording and performing in orchestras, Broadway musicals, commercials and television productions.

Paul Romaine has led, recorded, or performed with countless combinations of the Denver area’s best players and with internationally acclaimed artists such as Eddie Harris, Benny Golson, James Moody, Larry Coryell, Gunther Schuller, Charlie Rouse, Eddie Gomez, Jack McDuff, Marlena Shaw, Rufus Reid, Clark Terry, Dave Grusin, and Robin Eubanks.
