Denver Museum of Nature and Science presents CUBA: An inside look at a proud country
Cuba, a country known for Cigars, Sugar Cane and a Socialist Lifestyle is located in the northern Caribbean and is the largest island in the Caribbean. It is a country with a rich history, extending back centuries and is a founding member of the United Nations.
This sovereign state is like most other places, it enjoys great food (such as ropa vieja), music (some famous entertainers from Cuba are Gloria Estefan and Celia Cruz)and sports (baseball is it’s number one sport)
Running from Oct 26th until January 20th the Denver Museum of Nature and Science is hosting an exhibit that features the very best of Cuba. I had an opportunity to speak with Hugo Valdez of the DMNS regarding the exhibit, some local connections to Cuba, the Peter Pan Project and more.
