Explore Our City Virtually During Doors Open Denver September 28 through October 15

Doors Open Denver is the premier event showcasing the richness and history of Denver’s built environment and promoting quality design, presented by Denver Architecture Foundation (DAF), announces the list of virtual Insider Tours; the event will highlight the following 12 sites:

-Freyer-Newman Center | Denver Botanic Gardens (pictured)
-Mansions of the Quality Hill Neighborhood
-Fitzroy Place / Iliff Mansion
-Lumina
-The Link
-Museo de las Américas featuring Rhythm and Ritual: Music of the Ancient Americas
-Dairy Block
-Boiler House
-Denver International Airport Public Art Collection
-Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library
-Harvey Park Neighborhood / Cliff May Homes
-Bosler House

DOD will feature one tour a day, four days a week (Monday through Thursday) for three consecutive weeks. Each tour will allow time for a question-and-answer period. Tours cost $7 for members and $9 for nonmembers. Proceeds from ticket sales benefit DAF, a nonprofit organization.

“While Doors Open Denver will look different than it has in past years, we are thrilled to offer people a unique opportunity to experience Denver architecture in a safe, socially-distanced way,” said Pauline Herrera, DAF executive director.

“New to DOD this year are sites such as the Freyer-Newman Center at Denver Botanic Gardens, Lumina, The Link, Mansions of the Quality Hill Neighborhood and the Boiler House. Insider Tour expert guides will weave their expertise and knowledge throughout the intimate experience of remote tours through some of Denver’s architectural gems.”
