interview with Curtis and Kristopher Lincoln

Chefs love the annual summertime gourmet feast in North Denver known as “Live at the Vineyards.”  Participating again in the delectable, musical feast is Willow Creek Restaurant of Evergreen, Colo.  Owners Curtis and Kristopher Lincoln visited “First Take with Lando and Chavis” with a few goodies.

“The food is certainly part of our passion, but Willow Creek is an outstanding environment that really exemplifies Colorado,” said Curtis, referring to their idyllic location overlooking Evergreen Lake .  

“We do everything at the restaurant from scratch, and as much as possible we use Colorado product,” said Kristopher.   “If I can’t find my husband, he can usually be found in the woods looking for mushrooms.

On their menu for the signature fundraising event at Balistreri Vineyards on Aug. 9: an all-Colorado dish, Braised Pork Belly with Olathe Corn Succotash, as well as an import from the coast, Lavender-cured Oregon Albacore with Tonnato Sauce.
