J. Clark—Black lives have not been taken seriously in this country since it’s birth nor have we been perceived as human, as the constitution still embraces me as 3/5th of a man (Wiki on that).

J. believes the best business executives embody a wide range of skills and interests to generate the widest range of experience and opportunities. His career focuses on the science of Analytics, Modeling, and Finance while nurturing his Creative, Marketing, and Sales skills. J. pursued pharmaceutical sciences then molecular neuroscience before starting his work in community development. He served as a Director with a local nonprofit serving underprivileged youth to encourage limitless capabilities.J. is passionate about having a positive impact on any organization for which he works. J. is responsible for a myriad of diverse marketing, business development, and strategic planning. He is passionate about music (especially guitars), history, reading, leadership, global impact, the environment, being outside with nature, plants, animals – and most of all, family.


Stacey Putka is a fierce believer in challenging perceptions and the power of transformation. Growing up in an entrepreneurial household, with a father who took full advantage of his second chance in life after recovering from addiction, Stacey is inspired to facilitate transformation in the lives of others. As a Defy Ventures Colorado (DVC) founding member and current Program Director Stacey spearheads Defy’s teaching and coaching philosophy, curriculum development, marketing, and community relations. Prior to DVC Stacey worked as a mental health and substance abuse therapist, social worker, and group living counselor with various organizations. Stacey received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Colorado State University and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver.


Edgar Antillon was born and raised in Denver, Colorado to immigrant parents. He grew up on the West-side of Denver in what many would consider the ghetto. As a youth, Edgar faced many obstacles; but with the help of his wife of 16 years, he was able to overcome those obstacle and continue on to a relatively successful life. Since 2010 Edgar has co-owned the largest handgun training company in Colorado, Guns For Everyone. Edgar ran for state office in 2010 and 2014. In 2012 he was the chairman of Adams County Juntos con Romney, the Hispanic arm of the Romney campaign. Edgar is currently working on a documentary aimed at finding solutions to gun-violence, titled Rhetoric: All Talk. No Action. Edgar still resides in Colorado with his wife and four children
