The Austin Cebulske Trio is a straight-ahead small group modeled after the classic chordless saxophone trios throughout the jazz lineage. Inspired by the likes of Sonny Rollins, Joe Henderson, and Melissa Aldana, this trio vibrantly reimagines tunes from the Great American Songbook along with original compositions. A fluid melodic sense paired with a colorful array of rhythmic textures offers a dynamic and exciting musical landscape beyond the harmonic confines of the classic jazz group. Fresh out of the studio, the trio will be performing a variety of new music to be featured on an upcoming cd release.
