Boulder Concert Chorale presents Fiesta de Las Luces: Songs of Mexico – Lifting Lives Through Song Alzando Almas Con Canciones

3:30 pre-show talk with Dr. Vicki Burrichter and Albert Martinez
4:00 Concert start

In celebration of Mexico and the depth and breadth of Mexican culture, the Boulder Chorale is excited to present Fiesta de Las Luces: Songs of Mexico featuring The Uvalde High School Mariachi Band Los Coyotes and with the Boulder Children’s Chorale’s Bel Canto. The concert will feature a mix of Mariachi music and beautiful Mexican songs arranged for a chorale.

In May of 2023, The Rolling Stones featured The Uvalde High School Mariachi Los Coyotes, who made history by being the first group from Uvalde High School to compete at the State Level during the 2022-2023 ensemble year. Since their formation in 1999, the Uvalde High School Mariachi Los Coyotes have been performing and sharing their culture and traditions in Uvalde, Texas. They have touched the hearts of the people of the Hill Country with their passion and dedication to keeping Mariachi music alive and well in Uvalde. Their motto has always been, “I Believe in U, Loyal, and True, and Always Rep The U!”

Come and enjoy this concert and celebrate the culture and traditions of Mexico through the eyes of the Boulder Chorale and all of the special guests!
