The best thing to come out of the pandemic is Wednesday nights at Dazzle at Baur’s for Bread & Jam. A weekly funk session which grew from the need to get musicians back on stage (that’s the Jam) and help them with filling their own pantries (that’s the Bread). Hosted by Denver’s best funk musicians, these Jam sessions quickly became known as the place to be. Different from other jams (and your college boyfriend’s jam session), Bread & Jam has a specific song list, so musicians come prepared to play at a professional level. Each week is hosted by a different group of Denver locals. They play a short set and then invite other musicians on stage to jam.
