Part of  ‘Move to The Music’, a large ensemble series on most Mondays. Inspired by the “Stories of Standards” series on KUVO, this unique show explores the lives and music of the most influential figures in jazz history.

The Flatirons Jazz Orchestra – featuring Deborah Stafford, is a traditional 18-piece big band that authentically recreates the great Swing-Era music of Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Stan Kenton, Gene Krupa, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Diane Schuur, Buddy Rich, and more.

Comprised of some of Denver’s finest jazz musicians who come together to celebrate and perform big band music. From swing to Latin, lush ballads to funk, the DJO does it all. The DJO has been entertaining and exciting audiences for more than 15 years at jazz clubs, festivals, and concerts.

Founded in 2022, the Gavin Worland Big Band is an 18-piece jazz orchestra comprised of the finest young talent within and around the greater Denver metro area. The G.W.B.B. is a tool & professional setting to highlight and enable the next generation of musicians in their performance and professionalism with constant opportunities to compose/ arrange for the band to help keep pushing the sounds of the large jazz ensemble forward.

The Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra is an 18-piece “big band” featuring contemporary big-band jazz. Their selections include something for both young and old alike and consider the audience as an integral part of the show. Expect some humor, scary-good charts, outstanding local musicians, and a very enjoyable evening!
