Join us for an Artist Talk by contemporary fine art photographer and Chemehuevi citizen Cara Romero, in conjunction with the art exhibit Cara Romero Photography: Storytelling Through an Indigenous Lens. Cara’s photographs capture Indigenous and non-Indigenous cultural memory, collective history, and lived experiences from a Native American female perspective. Come see the exhibit, meet the artist at a reception hosted by Tocabe, and join us for a rare opportunity to hear Cara speak about her work.

Exhibit and Reception in Sturm Hall 102, 5-6 p.m. Artist Talk in Sturm Hall 151, 6-7 p.m. Free and open to the public.
