JoFoKe & Same Cloth are honoring Women’s History Month with a special guest, Maritri, for the March installation of their Last Saturday residency at Dazzle. Maritri is a Geri Allen protégé, a multi-genre vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and, like JoFoKe, an alumna of the world-renowned Fisk University Jubilee Singers (more at Maritri.com). JoFoKe & Same Cloth are honored to welcome Maritri to Denver for two Dazzle shows on Saturday, March 30, at 6 PM and 9 PM.

JoFoKe & Same Cloth is a genre-bending, Denver-based, Black woman-led band that uses their peculiarities to share meaningful art. The group performs original music and creative cover arrangements that, along with JoFoKe’s charisma and vocal stylings, are brought to life by Solomon Chapman on keyboards, Will Gaines on bass, Callum Bair & James Tré on guitar, and Matt Campbell on drums. JoFoKe & Same Cloth combines the diverse traditions of Black American Music to create an energetically eclectic and emotionally elevating live music experience.

In addition to their monthly “Last Saturdays” residency at one of Downbeat Magazine’s “Top 100 Jazz Clubs in the World”, Dazzle Denver, and an impressive list of past performances, JoFoKe & Same Cloth’s debut single, “No Good,” garnered over 100k organic streams across digital music platforms and, in December 2022, became a featured “Local 303” selection playing on 13 radio stations throughout Colorado’s Front Range. Their current single, “The Butterflies Have Died,” features violinist Monique Brooks Roberts and is available on all digital music and social media platforms.

JoFoKe & Same Cloth’s debut album is expected in 2024.
