Nice Work’s sound is rooted in a classic mid-century-modern jazz style, on the cooler, more melodic end of the spectrum, but with their own in-house arrangements that mix in more modern musical styles. The Nice Work Jazz Combo was awarded a Pathways to Jazz Grant which resulted in their 2019 CD/Album “Pathways Sessions.”

Nice Work is an ensemble project featuring Heidi Schmidt (vocals), Pete Lewis (sax), Jason Malmberg (bass), Jerry Weiss (piano), and Brian Kauffman (drums).
