Noites do Nordeste plays engaging rhythms and melodies from the Northeast of Brazil, where a rich history and cultural mix has yielded a unique musical sound that has become popular around the world. Violinist and violist Jane Uitti joins Brazilian pianist Mateus Pagliacci, Peter Huffaker on bass, and Raul Rossiter on drums; these local musicians are well-known for their interpretation of Brazilian genres from the Northeast, including choro, forro, and baiao.
