Two of Denver’s greatest improvisers Hugh Ragin and Kent McLagan team up with Kenny Warren and Flin van Hemmen from New York. This multi-generational 2 trumpet, bass and drums ensemble plays compositions by all of it’s members. Kenny and Hugh met at El Chapultapec in 1999, and recently reconnected at a jazz festival in Finland where Kenny was playing with the Jamie Baum Septet, and Hugh was playing with the legendary Art Ensemble of Chicago.
