Returning to Colorado after a transformative decade in New Orleans, Reid Poole introduces his dynamic ensemble, “Reid Poole and the Front Range 6.” Born in Fountain, Reid’s musical voyage took him through the vibrant streets of the Big Easy, where he honed his craft with groups like Dinosaurchestra, The Hi-Fi Swingtet, and The New Orleans Night Owls. Collaborations with renowned acts such as the Panorama Brass Band and Trumpet Mafia enriched his sonic repertoire. A proud alumnus of the University of Northern Colorado and the Eastman School of Music, Reid’s moments with the Glenn Miller Orchestra on international stages were pivotal. Equally passionate about education, he’s mentored budding talents in institutions from New Orleans to Colorado. Now, with the Front Range 6, Reid melds his rich jazz heritage with the energy of his home state, promising unforgettable musical experiences.
