Far Side of the Mountain is the brain child of vocalist Sophie West and guitarist/keyboardist Greg Leistikow. What started as an acoustic folk/blues duo quickly evolved into something much groovier with the addition of bassist Bryan Pearce. Now a full 5-piece ensemble with Mo Kusmer on keys and Clark W on drums, the group has come into its own with a unique bluesy psychedelic rock vibe. As one of Boulder’s newest up-and-coming original bands, Far Side of the Mountain has already begun earning itself comparisons to artists such as Jefferson Airplane, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin.
