Inspired by the artworks of Piet Mondrian, Henri Matisse, Jackson Pollock, Carl Holt and others, The Taylor Clay Quartet employs the jazz art form to explore the ideas of these artists and the musical works that have been created in reaction to them. Works by artists such as  brought to life by an excellent collection of forward thinking Denver jazz artists including: Jack Dunlevie on piano, Seth Lewis on bass and Braxton Kahn on drums.

Taylor Clay was born in Brooklyn, NY and began his musical journeys at the age of 13 and went on to study at the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, NY. After completing his degree in Music Performance in 2012, he moved to Colorado to attend the University of Northern Colorado as a graduate student and teaching assistant. Taylor currently lives in Denver, Colorado works as a busy freelance musician.
