In this second session of the New Music Series, the Gift of Jazz is proud to present local vocalist and band leader, DZIRAE GOLD at the Lodge at Woods Boss.

Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, she has discovered her sound in a blend of several genres–but none more so than jazz and soul. Drawing inspiration from artists such as John Legend, Leon Bridges, and Norah Jones, she has found her sound and style in rich vocal tones, passionate instrumentals, and a whole lot of soul.

DZIRAE GOLD is currently a Denver-based Soul singer. Her sultry vocals have been described as “smooth as liquid gold” and her music is often compared to a modern Memphis Soul style with a classic jazz influence, which inspired the name “DZIRAE GOLD” – fresh, sexy, and timeless.

While you’ll love the sultry twist she puts on many of your favorite pop songs, and her crooning rendition of some of the best vocal jazz classics, it’s her deep and thoughtful original lyrics and passionate instrumentals that will surely stir your heart and mind.
