Zach Rich returns to Nocturne to lead a series that pays homage to the iconic composer/trumpeter, Roy Hargrove. Roy Hargrove established an early reputation for being a versatile trumpeter and composer, recording and producing music from several idioms of Black American Music including straight ahead Jazz, Hard Bop, Post Bop, Hip Hop, and RnB. This series serves to present Mr. Hargrove’s music in a sequential manner, beginning with straight ahead Jazz and Hard Bop and ending with material from the RH Factor. Zach is joined for this performance by Gabe Mervine (trumpet), Dawn Clement (piano), Seth Lewis (bass) and Gabe Mangione (drums).
Zach Rich is a multi-award winning composer, trombonist, and educator based in Denver, Coloraodo. Zach has written music for many professional ensembles and organizations including the New York Youth Symphony, the Ravinia Steans Music Institute, the Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra and many others. Recently he has worked with Billy Childs, Rufus Reid, Steve Wilson, Shane Endsley, John Clayton, and Wayne Bergeron. Zach continues to write for and perform with a variety of ensembles throughout the Front Range and Midwest areas. He will release his debut chamber album in 2023 funded in part by Pathways to Jazz.

– Reserved Bar Seats are $19 per guest and include music. Bar guests have access to the entire dinner menu as well as our wine & cocktail list.
– We hold aside 4 to 6 bar seats per set for first-come first-serve walk-in guests. Walk-in guests will have a music charge of $20 per person applied to their check on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
