Gonzalo Teppa Quintet: Away From Home CD Release Party

Venezuelan bassist and composer Gonzalo Teppa presents his new quintet performing original music from his latest album “Away From Home.” Each composition written by Teppa is inspired by his family and his native country, drawing from the musical wells of contemporary jazz, Latin American music (Venezuelan, Brazilian, and Afro-Cuban), ballads, swing, blues, free jazz, and more. Teppa recorded the album this past June after winning the Pathways To Jazz Grant in 2018.
