Tune in during the 11am hour today, as Tree King continues to inform us during Autism Awareness month. We are interviewing Jaci Smith, mom and director of Operations of the Autism Community Store.

The Autism Community Store is a parent-owned social enterprise that has served the Denver Autism community for 16 years. The store’s mission is to connect people to information, resources and to each other, and to work toward a world where everyone feels they belong. The store is housed within the Autism Community Center, a 5500 square foot facility that includes a Resource and Support Center staffed by expert parent navigators, and accommodates programs designed to support the entire community – support groups, trainings, social and recreational activities, and resource fairs. Most importantly, the Autism Community Center is a place where people can connect with others who just get it. The Autism Community Store has the things exceptional people, and their families need to learn and thrive…all in one amazing, sensory friendly place.  Imagine a place where you belong!
