Oh This is Jazz News, a look at what’s news in jazz, music, and the arts.

Denver losing the big Outdoor Retailer trade show to Salt Lake City a couple of years ago was a bummer. But gaining the new Outside Festival at Civic Center Park is a big win. Set for the weekend of June 1 and 2, the headlining music artists are Thundercat, Lettuce, and soulful vocal band Say She She. (SOURCE: Outside Festival)

Lady Gaga is returning to the Park MGM in late June and July with her show called “Jazz & Piano – The Las Vegas Residency,” including her hits, and the Great American Songbook, in big band format and some stripped-down acoustic numbers. (SOURCE: Park MGM / Lady Gaga)
