Charlie Haden: Bassist with Ornette Coleman, Abbey Lincoln and Keith Jarrett; Father of the Haden Triplets

Allan Holdsworth: Pioneering guitar ace with Tony Williams and Frank Zappa

Regina Carter: Violinist and NEA Jazz Master

Ravi Coltrane: Saxophonist. And progeny of Alice and John Coltrane

Hendrik Meurkens: Vibes and harmonica.

Leslie Odom Jr. Vocalist and Broadway star, Leslie was Aaron Burr in Hamilton

So many superstars were born on August 6 and we will pay tribute and play their recordings
