Jon Wirtz’s NuSkool – not your parents jazz

On Thursday, April 24 at 7pm, Jon Wirtz’s NuSkool performs live from the Phyllis A Greer Performance Studio. The band is Jon Wirtz - piano & keyboards; Tyson Ailshie – bass; Daniel Hogans – drums.  Jon Wirtz is an Ohio-raised, Denver-based player who has led a number of projects and has appeared with many groups. Inspired by the masters of the past as well as the innovators of the present, Nuskool is shaped by elaborate original compositions, pocket grooves, and forward thinking mentality.  This is not your parent’s jazz.
