This year’s Juneteenth Music Festival will take place June 20 at the heart of Five Points at 26th and Welton Street.

This free event will feature live music and a variety of vendors from 10 AM to 9 PM.

Besides music, this festival offers a Miss Juneteenth Pageant, Urban Car Show, Juneteeth Green Zone and the first-ever Juneteenth Job Fair

Juneteenth, the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States, dates back to 1865.  Today, Juneteenth celebrates African American freedom and achievement, while encouraging continuous self-development and respect for all cultures.
