KUVO Studio Club: The Donna Scott Band | Feb 20

We welcome The Donna Scott Band to the Phyllis A. Greer Performance Studio on Tuesday, February 20 from 6 to 7pm on Jazz with Rodney Franks. Warm, deep, rich, earthy contralto and Grammy recognized recording artist Donna Scott, has been compared to the sassiness of Sarah Vaughan, the elegance of Nancy Wilson, and the distinctiveness of Carmen McRae.

Donna has performed as a featured soloist in Big Bands, Latin jazz combos, R&B revues and gospel shows throughout the US and Africa. A native Chicagoan who now lives in Aurora, CO, Donna has wowed audiences and clinicians at jazz festivals locally and nationally.

Featuring: Donna Scott – Vocals, Doug Rouche- piano, Ron Bland- bass, Kevin Smith- drums, and Jeff Miguel – sax.
