As Denver’s Five Points neighborhood fights to hang on to its “Harlem of the West” cache, black business owners are making their stand, in this case, “Eagle Pose.” KUVO’s Morning Set breathed and stretched through a conversation with Ali Duncan, founder of Urban Sanctuary, a black-owned yoga studio located in the heart of Five Points at 2745 Welton St.

Carlos, Steve, and Abi talked with Ali about stereotypes, social justice, anti-racism, the African roots of yoga, wellness, and more.
