Miguel Espinoza Flamenco Fusion plays a complex, rhythmic, lyrical blend of Flamenco, Jazz, European and Indian classical, as well as Afro-Caribbean-influenced styles. They connect strongly with their audiences and love to share their joyful music.

The group was formed in 2018 and consists of Miguel Espinoza – guitar, Lynn Baker – saxophone, Dianne Betkowski – cello, Randy Hoepker – bass, Andy Skellenger – table and cajon, and Mario Moreno – conga and timbales. They have been playing to sold out audiences in the Denver area ever since, and were the honored winners of Denver’s Westword Magazine 2019 Music Awards for Best of World Music.

Miguel Espinoza Flamenco Fusion’s first CD, “Turtle Dreams”, is the winner of Indie Acoustic’s Best Instrumental Album of 2019 and is full of original music that has been described as “colorful and vibrant”, “emotional”, a “stunning combination of jazz, flamenco, and subtle world music”, and “sophisticated rhythm elements…emotional, natural and organic”. They have created dynamic videos with more in the works, and are regularly in the studio creating wonderful new recordings.  A second CD, “Veneta”, will be released in August 2020!
