Mile High Community Band’s Fall Concert
On Thursday November 21st The Mile High Community Band will be performing a free event, open to the public at the Alameda International Jr./Sr. High School.
Their Fall Concert will include pieces by Dizzy Gillespie, James Sherman, Pee Wee Ellis, Count Basie and others.
Mike Lucas, Music Director for the band, stopped by KUVO recently to discuss the performance, the history of the band, how people can participate, being a “weekend warrior for the music”, and more.
