History Colorado Día de Los Muertos exhibit of Offerings and Hope:

Día de los Muertos is when we remember loved ones with flowers, candles, and handmade offerings. We’ve partnered with the Chicano Humanities and Arts Council on a community shrine, or ofrenda, at the History Colorado Center. See it now through November 9 and leave an offering of your own. Ofrendas are also open to all at El Pueblo, Fort Garland, and Trinidad. Rather submit a written tribute? We’ll display it at the site of your choosing.

The Latino Cultural Arts Center, our partner for Hecho en Colorado, has organized Ofrendas: Offerings of Hope through November 1st. In-person events, virtual opportunities, and unique altar-kits (quantities limited!) with handmade contributions by artists from Denver, Mexico, and Peru are all right here.

Homepage & Bottom: One of the paintings by Denver artist Mark Martinez Luna. Mark’s paintings depict the story of people who have made the journey to the other side. More on display at the History Colorado Center.
