On Stage: “Sing It Out!”

This Sunday, November 26, at 4 p.m., KUVO’s performance series “On Stage” features a variety of sessions with vocalists Roberta Gambarini, Allan Harris and Joni Janak.

Roberta Gambarini’s session was originally broadcast live in 2014, backed by Eric Gunnison, Mark Simon and Paul Romaine.  The Allan Harris date goes back to 2005, and he does a little guitar work himself, accompanied by Jeff Jenkins and Mark Simon.  Joni Janak performed several times at KUVO.  We’ll present music from her performances in 2004 and 2006, in both quartet and quintet arrangements.

We hope you can tune in for this celebration of the human voice.  It promises to be a delightful cap on the Thanksgiving weekend, captured as they were broadcast from KUVO’s Phyllis A. Greer Performance Studio!  That’s this Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m.  “On Stage,” a KUVO exclusive!
