We’re excited to introduce The Generations Sextet to the Studio Club on Tuesday, February 19 at 7 to 8 pm. The Generations Sextet title is because there are three musicians in their 80’s and three in their 20’s. All are very active on the Colorado jazz scene.

The sextet, arranged by trumpeter Bob Montgomery brings you music that is Eclectic – straight ahead Jazz, original, Latin, Hip-hop, and free. They will play “Because She Cares” a blues tango, and other compositions from the recently released “La Familia – The Music of Bob Montgomery CD,” featuring original compositions recorded by 16 former students.

The musicians are: Annie Booth piano, Patrick McDevitt bass, Alejandro Castaño drums, Al Hermann trombone, Harry Drabkin tenor saxophone and Bob Montgomery trumpet.

Studio Club Members: Please contact Arvida arvida@kuvo.org to reserve seats for you and a guest. Not in the Studio Club? Learn how to join here.

Thanks to our Studio Sponsors: Classic Pianos, Denver Piano Tuning, Drum City Guitarland, Flesher-Hinton Music Company, The Koelbel Family Foundation, Listen Up, and Original Pasquini’s Pizzeria
