Su Teatro Performing Arts and Cultural Center is hosting its 1st Ever Word Fest April 20 through 26, a festival dedicated to promoting a deeper appreciation of the written word and showcasing world-class writers and artists!

Offering a wide range of creative performances, guests include nationally acclaimed poet and spoken word artist Bobby Lefebre who will read his first playwright Northside, tackling the topic of Denver gentrification.

Artist Carlos Manuel will deliver a travelogue depicting his immigration story from Mexico. Theatre Espirit Asia’s Co-Founder Maria Cheng will weave together tai-ji forms, storytelling, stir-fry cooking and stand-up comedy to deliver a performance promising to be “unlike anything you’ve likely seen before.”
