It’s official, and just in time for the Great American Beer Festival.  Portland-based writer Jeff Alworth has written “The Beer Bible” (2015, Workman Publishing, 644 pages).  In Denver for the Great American Beer Festival, Alworth visited “First Take with Lando and Chavis.”

“At this point, the United States definitely has its own brewing tradition,” notes Alworth, who also blogs at www.beervana.blogspot.com.  ”In fact, the U.S. has become such an influential producer of beers here –  often made with a lot of hops – that when you travel to other parts of the world, you will find brewers making American-style ales.”
