Jeff Hamilton has quite an impressive pedigree: In his twenties, the drummer played with jazz heavies like Lionel Hampton, Monty Alexander and Woody Herman. In his thirties he performed with Ella Fitzgerald, the Count Basie Orchestra and Rosemary Clooney, and has since toured with Oscar Peterson and the Ray Brown trio and served as co-lead of the Clayton/Hamilton Jazz Orchestra with brothers Jeff and John Clayton.

The current line-up (pianist Tamir Hendelman and bassist Jon Hamar) is considered to be one of the best small groups in Jazz, this trio sets the bar for what a versatile swingin’ trio can offer to its audiences, with creative arrangements of standards and original compositions.
