Born and raised in Colorado, Joshua Trinidad began playing trumpet at age 7. Joshua’s music can be heard all over the world with notable artists such as Sage Francis, Lee Konitz, Nathaniel Ratliffe, soundtrack music for Ken Burns and many others.

Over the past few years Joshua has had the opportunity to play trumpet with: The Mars Volta, Ikey Owens, Cake, Karl Denson, OK Go, The Colorado Wind Ensemble, George Clinton, The Bad Plus and many others. Locally, Joshua plays with The Joshua Trinidad Trio, Wheelchair Sports Camp, Poets Row, and GoStar. He tours both nationally and globally on a regular basis.  Joshua is a professor at Colorado State University where he is finishing his PhD and is endorsed by Rawbrass Trumpets and Mantic Pedals.
