In August 1969 half a million people camped out on Max Yasgur’s farm in upstate New York for three days of Peace, Love and Music. Throw in nudity, mud, freedom and warnings about the brown acid and you have WOODSTOCK!

So historic an event we’re celebrating the festival fifty years after! No doubt on this 50th Anniversary you’ll be able to see and hear the music and the movie on broadcast and internet media but we have a different celebration in mind.

On Sunday night, August 18 from 8 to 9pm Andy O’ will host the Studio Club performance of Mark Fox & Sonic Nomads; and then, from 9 to midnight is three hours of Peace, Love, Poetry and All That Jazz on the Nightside with Andy O’!

You’ll hear songs of the Woodstock Festival performed by Jazz artists along with groovy poetry. So get your beads and bell bottoms on and tune in for a Jazzy Woodstock on KUVO Jazz.
