The Dmitri Matheny Group (DMG) continues Jazz-tober-fest at Baur’s Listening Lounge with a performance featuring classical jazz and original compositions on October 22 at 8 PM.

Led by director, composer and flugelhornist Dmitri Matheny, the DMG possesses a signature sound that has garnered an international following.

The DMG features Dmitri Matheny on flugelhorn, Jeff Jenkins on piano, Mark Simon on bass, and Paul Romaine on drums.

With 120 recordings to his credit,  Matheny has released ten critically-acclaimed worldwide albums as a leader, performs heavily at jazz festivals, and is featured in Broadway musical productions.
