Tune in today: Sydney Harper, Girl from Ipanema & Dr. TJ Quartet | May 3

Join KUVO on Today  from 6 to 8 pm MT for a special edition of Brazilian Fantasy, featuring guests Sydney Harper, Girl from Ipanema and the Dr. TJ Donahue quartet.

Harper – a lyric soprano – will sing music by Brazilian classical composer Heitor Villa-Lobos. Harper has performed with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra and at the Highlands Ranch Broadway Night. 

John Kite’s trio, Girl from Ipanema, will play Brazilian standards. The group features Kite on piano, Roger John on bass and Peter Gregory on drums. 

Dr. TJ Donahue will sing Brazilian standards with his a capella quartet.
