Vinyl Vault: “Picture This” by Gary Burton Quartet

ECM month continues on the Vinyl Vault with a 1982 album from the Gary Burton Quartet entitled “Picture This.” Burton is joined by Steve Swallow on bass, Jim Odgren on alto sax and Mike Hyman on drums. The album features several covers by the likes of Chick Corea, Charles Mingus and Carla Bley. This ECM album has never been released on CD, but you can hear it this Tuesday, October 23 at 8:30 on the Vinyl Vault with host Geoff Anderon on KUVO Jazz.
