Vinyl Vault: “The Fox” – Urbie Green

This week on the Vinyl Vault we’ll hear from trombonist Urbie Green and his 1977 album “The Fox,” released on CTI records. Green’s warm, rich tone and superb style shines through on this primarily acoustic session. Joining Green on the date were Toots Thielemans, George Mraz, Joe Farrell, Eric Gale, Anthony Jackson, Mike Manieri and others.
