We hosted our annual Jazz Messenger Party at our home, the Buell Media Center, with a little over 300 people in the house – believe us when we say it was quite a night! Inviting you into our home is a fantastic way for us to express our gratitude to you, in-person, with food, music, and a whole lot of socializing.

The Music, in the Bonfils Performance Studio, with the Rich Chiaraluce Quartet, with Dave Hanson on piano, Ken Walker on bass, and Todd Reid on drums was packed with Jazz Messengers. The band played two swinging sets of jazz standards.

Media Noche Honrado played in the Masterpiece Studio and had people moving and grooving in their seats, and on the dance floor. The Honrado part of the group’s name signifies honoring Media Noche the band founded by former Salsa Con Jazz host Jimmy Trujillo.

It takes a large community to keep KUVO  on the air, and we are grateful to all of our members, and the community that has embraced our station since 1985. Learn how to become a Jazz Messenger HERE!

Thank you!
