Terri Jo Jenkins is a multi-talented woman, she has been singing professionally since her childhood. In her home state of Nebraska she was nominated for local folk artist of the year over the course of several years and was a songwriting competition winner.

Currently she is a music teacher who teaches piano, flute, guitar and voice lessons and is a member of the jazz vocal band Quirktett. She also is the Executive Director of the Songbird Vocal Jazz Fest that is held each November.

I had a chance to speak to speak with her recently regarding social media platforms, how singers around town are doing amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic, how jazz fans can encourage artists and more.
