Trash the stereotypes when it comes to people groups and skiing. Built on the legacy of Black ski clubs like Sippers and Sliders, here comes the BIPOC Mountain Collective. Founder Romell Ward told KUVO they’re building a community where black skiers “never ride alone.”

They host gatherings happen in winter and summer, in Denver and at mountain resorts, as well as at national events organized by the National Brotherhood of Skiers. More info and links to their social media pages at https://bmcsnow.org/.
